“Wood, light and plants: a warm house inside.”
At Casa Cobogó, in Lago Sul, Brasília, OA designed both the architecture and the interiors. Here we show some of the interior spaces, while preserving the clients’ privacy.
01Living room
Light sofas, a sisal rug, wood and a large orange apple painting. The high ceiling and linear lighting make the living room spacious and welcoming.
02Room-divider shelving
A wood-and-metal shelving unit with trailing plants separates the entrance from the living room without blocking the view: it filters sightlines and lets light through.
03Dining room
A solid wood table, cane chairs and wooden pendants, open to the garden through large glass doors.
04Kitchen
An island with rounded corners in wood and terrazzo, an attached table for everyday meals, white cabinets and a built-in coffee corner.
05Staircase
A white grid screen runs alongside the staircase and draws shadows throughout the day. On the wall, a wooden world map tells the family’s travels.
06Yoga space
Upstairs, a calm yoga space with wooden floors, a large rug, poufs, floating shelves and a bench running along the whole window, with natural light and a view of the trees.
